Kate Somerville D-Scar Scar Diminishing Serum

I had no idea how popular my scar post would be! Thank you all for all the emails and feedback. I just started trying a new scar treatment from Kate Somerville. If you have been reading my blog since the beginning, you'll know that ExfoliKate is one of my must haves and one of the very first products I reviewed. I might revisit that at one point to re-write a longer review. I didn't know my blog would be taking off the way it did when I  started. Thanks again for reading!!!

Here's a breakdown of the product from their website-

D-Scar Scar Diminishing Serum is designed to reduce the appearance of old and new scars and uneven texture. A powerful scar-fighting combination, this serum and rollerball applicator are designed to work together to flatten scars. With DS-7™, a microencapsulated Peptide essential to the skin renewal process, this formula encourages more normalized, smoother, softer skin. Erase time and celebrate smoother skin!

  • DS-7, a microencapsulated Peptide, is essential to the skin renewal process. It encourages more normalized, smoother, softer skin. This unique “messenger” Peptide delivers a large amount of essential renewal information to cells.  DS-7 is protected within a patented microcapsule that is specially designed to work its way through the tight upper layers of skin to reach the spaces between the cells, in deeper epidermal layers. Once reaching the target site, the message “unlocks” and is able to tell cells when and how to renew properly, resulting in smoother, more even skin texture.
  • Botanical Extract helps even out the appearance of skin texture.

If you've tried it, please let me know!

It sounds very promising! I will come back to write a review of it!

Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cream $55

Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cream calms and rejuvenates sensitive, dry, and combination skin, absorbing quickly with no oily residue left behind. It offers optimum moisture, balance, and overall well-being for a naturally healthy complexion.

For years, Ancient Egyptians used goat milk to heal and nurture skin; their skincare wisdom bears following. This natural wonder continues the great tradition, lavishing skin with infusions of milk proteins, vitamins, and amino acids.

This is a good cream for everyday use. It hydrates and calms your skin without being greasy. Goat Milk is very healing to the skin and is loaded with great vitamins. I think it's good for all skin types. I have sensitive combination skin and I've never had any bad reaction to this cream. I've also recommended it to my younger sister who is prone to breakouts and she liked it as well.

It's a great cream to balance your skin if that is what you're looking for, or if you have very sensitive skin. I used to use this during the day and something more anti-aging at night.

Verdict: Try it!

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate® Intensive $85

Clarify and polish skin to reveal a glowing, fresh-from-the-Clinic complexion. Microbeads and Fruit Enzymes are intended to clean pores, while Salicylic Acid is formulated to balance hydration, without over-drying. See dramatically smoother, brighter, healthier-looking skin after just one treatment.

This is by far one of the best facial exfoliants on the market. I have very stubborn blackheads and this treatment seem to clear all my blackheads on my nose and smooth out the top layer of your skin. The current tube packing is better than the pump jar they had few years ago. It was so hard to get the product out that i stopped buying it. I'm glad they changed it to the squeeze tube.

You only need a little for the whole face. Sometimes I just use it on my nose to clear the blackheads. If you have sensitive skin, I suggest you buy the Sensitive version, because it is pretty intense. You can see the difference in your skin with one use. It's a great treatment to do weekly to clear your pores and get rid of all the dead skin cells.

Get it!
