Fresh Rose Hydrating Face Serum

Fresh is one of my favorite brands of skincare products and I am loving the fact that they are expanding their Rose line of products! The Rose Mask is still one of the best masks I've used and the scent is delicate and true to the scent of a real rose.

I have been looking for a new hydrating serum to use and I might give this one a try.

Fresh Rose Hydrating Gel Cream

Fresh came out with another new product! This looks like a great companion to the Rose Face Mask and toner. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to gel texture creams, so I'm not sure if I will be able to give you guys a full review on this. But looking at the ingredients and price point, this is more of a hydration gel cream than an anti-aging cream.

Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream With Super 7 Complex Review

My take:

I was randomly shopping at Sephora for some Christmas presents and I saw this new cream from Fresh, and of course I had to get it! I love all of Fresh's products, especially the Black Tea line and the Rose Petal Mask, so it was a no brainer that I had to give this product a try.

I think it is a great anti-aging starter cream for those that are not ready to commit to spending over $100 yet. I feel like this is more of a light weight hydrating cream than a rich anti-aging cream.  I love the texture. It feels very rich and thick, but it actually goes on light and smooth.

To put in the overall rank of Fresh Anti-aging products, it'll rank somewhat like this for me -

Fresh always put out quality products and for $42, it's very reasonably priced. 

I'm not sure if this is a Sephora exclusive, i think it is, since I couldn't find it on Fresh's official website. It's strange that Fresh kept putting out exclusive products only at Sephora, but then again Sephora and Fresh are both under the LVMH family.

Sephora Fresh exclusive Seaberry Moisturizing Face Oil

Sephora has an exclusive Fresh product called Seaberry Moisturizing Face Oil for $50. Just FYI, you can get 100% Certified Organic Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil for much cheaper and it won't be a blend of a bunch of other oils.

The Seaberry oil is actually a blend-

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

From their site-

I'm a big fan of Fresh products and really, you can't go wrong with any of their products. The Soy Face Cleanser is becoming one of their signature products along with the Sugar Lip Balm. It cleans very well and is extremely gentle for all skin types. It also doesn't leave you skin dry either.

It smells like cucumber and the texture itself is like liquid gel. I like like the cleanser is soap-free and fragrance free, which is rare. The scent comes from their ingredients- rosewater and cucumber extract, which are great for calming of the skin.

I'm not sure about washing off makeup, since I don't wear makeup, but I would assume it does the job really well. This is also great for those that have acne prone skin. The last thing you want to do with acne pron skin is to dry it out, it'll make your face produce more oil.
 
If you're not sure about buying the full size, they sell trial sizes at Sephora, but I say go for the full size!

FRESH RICE DRY OIL REVIEW ($48)

Rice Dry Oil combines the regenerative benefits of rice bran oil with the restorative actions of jojoba oil to pick up where any cleansing ritual leaves off.

Key Ingredients:
- Antioxidant borage and grapeseed oils are immediately absorbed, imparting a silky finish and sensual sheen
- Anti-inflammatory arnica, ginseng and passionflower extracts warm muscles, perfect for a restorative massage
- The scent of toning camellia and grapefruit is deepened by luscious bourgeon de cassis, ripening into a fruity, earthy essence

I love Fresh as a brand and all their products. They are smell good enough to eat and this one is no exception. The scent for this dry oil is like a mix of white peach and sake. If you follow the brand, you would probably remember their "Memoirs of a Geisha" line, which is still my favorite line/scent from them. This is the closest to the Memoirs of a Geisha scent minus the peony.

Fresh has two body oils, one is rice, one is sugar. Always go for the rice one. The sugar one doesn't smell that great and I always feel like it's more of an afterthought to expand their Sugar Collection, which is their main collection. 

I thought the Rice Dry Oil was decent. It absorbs very quickly into the skin, but somehow my skin still feels kind of dry after, so I do apply lotion on top of this dry oil. A little tip for anyone that is thinking about buying this, it is best to apply it when your skin is still a little damp from the shower, otherwise it's kind of hard to rub this onto your skin.

I do think it's a little bit too pricey for the little bottle. I feel like I can finish the whole bottle in 2 months. The bottle itself is glass, which is always a plus as oils should always be stored in glass in my opinion.

I do love this oil, but then again if I were to use this everyday, it can get pretty expensive and I don't like the fact that I ended up having to apply more lotion on top of this. I think it's going to be one of those products I will buy and only use on special occasions. The scent is divine and if you don't want to wear perfume, you can pretty much just use this as a substitute.

ROSE FACE MASK $55

Rose Face Mask hydrates and tones the complexion to restore radiance and suppleness to all skin types. The unique, cooling gel formula is infused with pure rosewater and real rose petals that literally melt into the skin.

Fresh was one of the very first luxury brands that I tried when I got into skin care and it is still one of my favorite brands. They use very clean ingredients that you can feel and see and the results have been good.

Rose Face Mask smells like heaven and you can see the rose petals inside the jar and they melt into your skin once you rub it on your face. It's very hydrating and calming and the rose scent is quite intoxicating. It feels like a luxurious treatment, but I have yet seen any noticeable results. I think as a hydrating mask, it does its job extremely well and I don't think it claims to be anything else. If you're looking for an anti-aging mask, try their Black Tea Skin Perfecting Mask, that one is amazing.

This is one of those products that I would love to get as a gift, but I would be hesitant to spend my own money on it, because it's just a very fancy hydrating mask. But if you have great disposable income and you want to feel fancy, go ahead and buy it!

BLACK TEA AGE-DELAY CREAM $95

Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Face Cream combines natural ingredients with cutting-edge technology to visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It's formulated with collagen-boosting lychee, proven to strengthen the skin's structure and firm the complexion to restore youthful contours and promote cell regeneration, resulting in softer, smoother skin. It also protects the skin against pollution with black tea and provides intense hydration and moisture.

Fresh always put out quality products and this one is no exception. It is a light but moisturizing cream that goes on very smooth. I think it smells like cucumbers and black tea. It's very refreshing. It's a pretty decent antiaging cream. I have noticed some differences with the overall complexion of my face. It gave me a little glow to the face and made my face looked dewy.

The only negative I can think of is how small the jar is. I feel like you can go through the jar pretty quickly and of course when you express that to the store employee they will always tell you "Oh a little bit goes a long way!"  Well, if you're like my mom that likes to put on a lot of cream, you'll prob go through the entire jar in 2 months especially if you're using it day and night.

It's a solid anti-aging moisturizer under $100. You don't see that many good ones under $100, and for my friends that don't want to spend over $100, I always recommend this one.

BLACK TEA INSTANT PERFECTING MASK $88

This is one of my favorite masks on the market. If you are like me, you probably wonder what exactly is the use of a mask that is not exfoliating or cleansing. I think this mask will give you the answer like it did for me. My skin feels calmer, smoother, and more even toned after using this mask. What I love the most about this mask is the tingling sensation you get after you wash it off. It's quite invigorating.

I've also tried their Rose Petal Mask and i think that one is good as well, but I didn't really see the difference with the Rose Mask other than the fact that it smelled amazing.

There are not that many masks on the market that I would recommend simply because I never really noticed a difference with them. However, this one is def a good one to try if you're into masks. Get it!
